While I was listening to the Jim Rome show today, my mind drifted back during the Jalen Rose interview.
I instantly started searching for Chris Webber's website, scouring Amazon.com and Barnes And Noble, looking for a press release on ESPN.com...nothing. It turns out I haven't missed the printing of Chris Webber's book. The book that he told us, once he retired he would sit and write and tell us all the "truth" about the Ed Martin situation. Since Mitch Albom's columns are full of made-up facts, maybe he is having Mitch ghost-write it for him in between his Oprah Book-of-the-Month selections.
Maybe he is waiting for everybody involved in the situation to die. Ed Martin's gone. Who else needs to pass before he can be honest? Steve Fisher? Perry Watson?
Anyway, I am still anxiously awaiting to hear the truth CWebb.
